Why reporting matters

Your numbers are now under real scrutiny

Corporate tax, bank reviews, free-zone renewals, and investors all want reliable financials. Clean books aren’t just good practice anymore — they’re a compliance requirement and a decision-making tool you can’t run a business without.

01

Corporate-tax compliance

The 9% corporate tax is calculated from your accounting profit. Without accurate records and working papers, your filing is guesswork — and penalties follow.

02

Audit-ready always

Many free zones require audited financials for renewal. Kept clean year-round, an audit becomes a formality instead of a fire drill.

03

Decisions backed by numbers

Management reports turn raw transactions into insight — margins, cash flow, and cost — so you steer the business on facts, not gut feel.

04

Stronger banking

Banks increasingly ask for financial statements. Clean, professional accounts strengthen applications and keep accounts in good standing.

05

Investor-ready

When you raise or sell, IFRS-standard statements and a clean history make due diligence smooth and protect your valuation.

06

Lower cost than in-house

A full finance team is a heavy fixed cost. Outsourced reporting gives you professional accounts without the headcount or software.

My methodology

Clean books, kept clean.

Produce statements & insight

IFRS financial statements plus monthly management reports that show margins, cash flow, and trends.

Questions I hear often

Financial reporting & auditing, answered plainly

Does my UAE company legally need to keep accounts?

Yes. UAE law requires companies to maintain proper accounting records, and the FTA requires them kept for seven years. With corporate tax now in force, accurate records are also essential to calculate and support your tax filing.

Do I need an audit?

It depends on your jurisdiction and structure. Many free zones require audited financial statements for licence renewal, and audits also support corporate-tax positions and investor due diligence. I’ll tell you whether yours needs one and coordinate it if so.

Do you carry out the audit yourself?

The audit itself must be signed by a licensed auditor. I prepare your books and working papers, then coordinate the whole process with a licensed audit firm — handling their queries so it’s smooth and efficient for you.

What are IFRS financial statements?

IFRS — International Financial Reporting Standards — is the globally recognised framework the UAE follows. Statements prepared to IFRS are what banks, auditors, and investors expect, and they make your accounts comparable and credible.

How does bookkeeping connect to corporate tax?

Corporate tax is calculated from your accounting profit, then adjusted under the law. If your bookkeeping is inaccurate, your tax filing is unreliable. Clean, tax-ready books are the foundation of a defensible return.

Can you provide monthly management reports?

Yes — regular reports on your profit, margins, and cash position that turn raw numbers into insight, so you can make decisions on facts rather than instinct.

Is outsourcing cheaper than an in-house accountant?

For most small and mid-sized companies, yes. You get professional, compliant reporting without the salary, software, and management overhead of an in-house finance team.

What software do you work with?

I work with the major cloud accounting platforms and can recommend and set up the right one for your size and activity — or work within the system you already use.

Can you clean up books that are behind?

Yes — catch-up bookkeeping to bring your records current and compliant, then ongoing maintenance so they never fall behind again.
